Chapter 264: The Legend of Journey to the West
Tang Hao frowned slightly, his heart full of doubts. Since he became Tang Seng, many things puzzled him. He was worried that after his transformation, would the Tang Seng in the Journey to the West broadcast around the world also be different? This worry was like a seed, deeply rooted in his heart, making him unable to let go.
He looked up at Sun Wukong, the once unruly monkey, who now seemed unusually happy. Tang Hao took a deep breath, tried to calm himself down, and asked, "Wukong, where are we now?" His voice was still a little weak, but it was able to clearly convey his meaning.
Hearing this, Sun Wukong stopped jumping happily and turned to look at Tang Hao. His face was filled with the joy of freedom, and his voice was full of excitement: "Master, you are finally awake! We are now at the Eagle Sorrow Stream of Shepan Mountain." As he spoke, he couldn't help but jump and jump again, as if he wanted to release all the joy in his heart.
Tang Hao was not as relaxed as Sun Wukong. He looked down at his slightly slender hands, and couldn't help but sigh. He had now completely become Tang Monk, the weak but determined monk in "Journey to the West". He looked up and saw the green mountains all around, and the roar of the water in Yingchou Stream seemed to be telling something.
With the help of Sun Wukong, Tang Hao reluctantly got on the white horse. He felt that his body was still a little weak, but the determination in his heart made him not flinch. Under the control of Sun Wukong, the white horse arrived in front of Yingchoujian in a moment. Tang Hao tightened the reins and stared at the scenery ahead.
I saw the cold veins trickling through the clouds, and the clear waves reflecting the sun, with a red glow. In the sound of the night rain, the sound of gurgling water seemed to be heard in the valley, and the colorful light of the morning glow was dazzling, as if the whole sky was dyed colorful. The thousand-foot waves were flying, like shattered jade, and the sound of a deep pool of water was like a roaring breeze. All of this eventually flowed into the vast sea of smoke and disappeared among the gulls and herons that had no fishing rods to meet.
Tang Hao was shocked by the beautiful scenery in front of him, and the depression in his heart also dissipated a little. He suddenly remembered that there was a famous demon hidden in this Yingchou Gorge. Since he was now proficient in "Journey to the West", why not take the opportunity to show off in front of Sun Wukong to demonstrate his ability?
So, he pretended to be profound and asked: "Wukong, do you know what kind of monsters are in this Yingchou Gorge?" Upon hearing this, Sun Wukong's eyes flashed with cunning. In fact, he had already known the secret of Yingchou Gorge, but at this moment he deliberately pretended not to know, shaking his head and wagging his tail, and replied: "What monsters are there? Haha, Master, I don't know, so just tell me."
Looking at Sun Wukong's shrewd appearance, Tang Hao couldn't help but laugh in his heart. He knew it was not easy for him to show off in front of this monkey, but since he had already opened his mouth, he could only bite the bullet and continue. He cleared his throat and began to tell the story of the goblin in Yingchoujian.
Tang Hao looked at Sun Wukong in front of him, and a sense of heroism rose in his heart. He smiled and said to Sun Wukong: "Haha, Wukong, there lives a little white dragon in here. You can go to Yingchou Stream and use your Ruyi Jingu Bang to muddy the water in the stream and force the white dragon out. Then tell him that I am a pilgrim from the Tang Dynasty in the East. When I came here, I heard that the little white dragon was here and I needed him to help me."
Sun Wukong raised his eyebrows and scratched his ears when he heard this. His golden eyes blinked a few times. He felt that his master Tang Seng's words seemed to have some unusual meaning, as if he was testing his ability and loyalty. However, since his master had spoken, he naturally could not neglect it. So he jumped up and turned into a golden light, and instantly came to the cliff next to Yingchoujian.
Sun Wukong stood firm and pulled out the powerful Ruyi Jingu Bang. He shouted, "Grow!" The Jingu Bang immediately grew longer, becoming more than ten thousand feet long, like a pillar supporting the sky. Then, Sun Wukong plunged the Jingu Bang into the Yingchou Gorge and began to stir it vigorously.
As Sun Wukong stirred, Yingchoujian immediately turned upside down. The stream roared and rushed, as if it was injected with endless power, rolling up layers of turbid waves and rushing straight into the sky. The riverbed was also turbulent under this huge force, as if it would collapse at any time. Tang Hao stood aside and felt the earth shaking, as if the whole world was becoming shaky at this moment.
However, Tang Hao did not feel the slightest fear. He had a solid foundation of martial arts from his previous life. In this huge shock, he was still able to stand firmly in place, unaffected. He looked at the stream with burning eyes, and saw that Sun Wukong's golden cudgel really had the power to overturn rivers and seas as the legend said, and it turned Yingchou Gorge upside down.
Tang Hao secretly praised in his heart! With such a thug as his apprentice, he can do whatever he wants on the way. He seemed to have seen the scene of himself being majestic and invincible on the journey to the west in the future. Those goblins, just wait for me, Tang Hao, to bully you!
Just as Tang Hao was immersed in his beautiful reverie, the turmoil in Yingchoujian gradually subsided. Sun Wukong also put away his golden hoop and stood on the cliff with a solemn look. He knew that the turmoil he had just stirred must have alarmed the mysterious little white dragon. Next, he just had to wait for the little white dragon to appear.
Sure enough, not long after, a huge column of water suddenly surged up from the surface of Yingchoujian, rushing straight into the sky. Then, a huge white dragon rose from the water, making a deafening roar. The white dragon exuded a strong pressure, and there was a sharp light flashing in its eyes. It was obvious that it was not an ordinary person.
Tang Hao was secretly delighted when he saw this. He knew that this little white dragon was the important partner he was looking for. So he stepped forward, cupped his hands and said, "Little White Dragon, I am a pilgrim from the Tang Dynasty in the East. I heard you were here when I came here. I want to take you as one of my legs, and we can go west together to get scriptures. Are you willing?"
When Xiaobailong heard this, a hint of hesitation flashed in his eyes. He had obviously heard of Tang Seng's name and knew the importance of this trip. However, he was unwilling to give up his free life and become someone else's mount. He was silent for a moment, as if he was weighing the pros and cons.
Seeing this, Tang Hao said, "Little White Dragon, if you are willing to follow me to the West to obtain the scriptures, not only can you achieve enlightenment, but you can also take this opportunity to wash away your past sins. This is a road full of hardships and challenges, but it is also a road to light. You must consider it carefully."
After hearing what Tang Hao said, Xiao Bailong couldn't help but feel a little shaken. He knew that although he was powerful, he had always been alone and lived a boring life in this remote Yingchou Gorge. If he could follow Tang Seng on his journey to the west to obtain the scriptures, he would not only be able to train himself, but also have the opportunity to achieve enlightenment. This was undoubtedly a rare opportunity.
In Yingchou Gorge, the originally calm water surface suddenly surged, and a demonic roar broke through the sky: "Who is disturbing my sweet dream?" The sound shook the whole area, as if even the surrounding air was shaking. At the same time, a thick column of water suddenly spurted out from the gorge, rushing straight into the sky. The water column was so huge that it seemed to penetrate the sky and the earth, with surging water mist. For a moment, the surroundings became white and nothing could be seen clearly.
After a while, the mist gradually dissipated, and the water in Yingchou Gorge became turbulent again. On Shepan Mountain, a white dragon several dozen feet long suddenly appeared. The white dragon's scales were glittering, and its eyes were piercing, exuding majesty and power. It was obviously disturbed by the movement just now, and it was looking around angrily, trying to find the culprit who disturbed its sweet dream.
Sun Wukong was standing on a nearby rock, holding his golden cudgel. He had just used the cudgel to stir up the water in Yingchoujian in an attempt to lure out the white dragon. When he saw the white dragon appear, he had no intention of putting away the cudgel, but instead looked eager to try.
The white dragon soon discovered the presence of Sun Wukong. When it saw that Sun Wukong still hadn't retracted his golden hoop, it immediately realized that this ignorant monkey was causing trouble. The white dragon was extremely angry. It opened its bloody mouth, showing its sharp fangs, and pounced on Sun Wukong with its teeth and claws bared. The huge figure drew an arc in the air and rushed towards Sun Wukong at lightning speed, spewing out hot dragon breath from its mouth, trying to knock Sun Wukong down in one fell swoop.
However, what kind of person is Sun Wukong? He was not afraid of the attack of the white dragon at all. He dodged the dragon's breath with a nimble body and shouted: "Little white dragon, it's not too late to fight after I finish what I say! Do you think I'm afraid of you?" As he spoke, he had already jumped to a higher position in the air, forming a confrontation with the white dragon.
Tang Hao was standing aside and witnessed this scene. He couldn't help laughing out loud: "Great, this little white dragon is actually this big! And it can even breathe dragon breath! Not bad, not bad." He knew Sun Wukong's abilities very well and knew that this battle was just a piece of cake for Sun Wukong, so he was not worried at all.
At this time, Sun Wukong and Bai Long were in a tense confrontation in the air. Although Sun Wukong seemed relaxed, he was actually secretly observing Bai Long's movements, looking for flaws. Bai Long was roaring angrily, trying to attack again. However, he also knew that Sun Wukong was not an ordinary person, so he did not act rashly, but waited for a better opportunity.
For a moment, the entire sky above Yingchoujian was filled with a tense and intense atmosphere. This sudden battle not only alarmed the nearby creatures, but also gave Tang Hao a deeper understanding of the strength comparison between Sun Wukong and Bailong. He knew that although this battle seemed simple, it actually contained profound truths and endless mysteries. Only a true master could be at ease and invincible in such a battle.
When Sun Wukong saw that Bailong had temporarily stopped attacking, he took the opportunity to say, "Little Bailong, listen to me. I am a monk from the Tang Dynasty in the East, and I'm going to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures on the orders of the Tang King. If you know what's good for you, you'd better get out of the way quickly and don't delay our journey." He tried to convince Bailong with reason and let him give in.
However, the white dragon obviously didn't buy it. It roared angrily: "You monkey! You disturbed my sweet dream and you want to leave easily? No way! Today I will let you taste my power!" After that, it opened its bloody mouth again and spewed out an even hotter dragon breath.
"Hmph... Monkey who is here to stir up trouble, what else can you do?" The little white dragon snorted coldly, as if carrying a kind of majesty and disdain from the deep sea. He was in the form of a dragon at this time, and his huge dragon body was coiled in the depths of Yingchou Gorge. Every dragon scale was flashing with cold light, appearing mysterious and powerful. When he spoke, his voice was like thunder, passing through the water and directly spreading throughout the entire Shepan Mountain, even causing echoes in the distant valleys.
Tang Hao stood on the hillside and felt a loud noise in his ears, as if he was violently shaken by an invisible force. He subconsciously covered his ears, but the sound seemed to have life, stubbornly drilling into his ears, shaking his ears so much that they hurt, and his mind was buzzing.
But Sun Wukong at this moment seemed to be unaffected by the sound. He stood on a small white cloud, hanging steadily in the air, pointing at Tang Hao with one hand, with a somewhat proud and formal look on his face.
"Come and see!" Although Sun Wukong's voice was not as loud as Xiao Bailong's, it had its own power that could not be ignored. "This is the monk from the Eastern Tang Dynasty who went to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures." He said, turning his gaze to Tang Hao, his eyes flashing with respect and determination. "I, the Great Sage Equaling Heaven Sun Wukong, am his apprentice, and I will protect him on his journey to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures! My master said that you will be his footman."
Hearing this, Little White Dragon couldn't help but let out a thunderous cry, his voice full of surprise and disbelief. His huge dragon eyes stared at Tang Hao, as if he wanted to see through this monk from the Eastern Tang Dynasty. However, under his gaze, Tang Hao just smiled slightly, with a calm expression, as if everything was within his expectations.
"My master's white horse is an ordinary horse, it will definitely not reach the West." Sun Wukong continued, his tone revealing an unquestionable firmness. "So, we need you, Little White Dragon. Your strength and speed are what we need."
As Little White Dragon listened to Sun Wukong's words, the surprise in his eyes gradually faded, replaced by a deep thought. His huge dragon body swam slowly in the Eagle Sorrow Stream, and every swing caused the water to surge.
After a moment, he suddenly retracted his body and coiled up like a coiled snake. The only difference was that he had four dragon claws on his body, exuding majesty and power. Then, his figure shrank again, and he turned into a handsome young man standing on auspicious clouds!
This change made Tang Hao's eyes widen. He looked at the handsome young man in front of him and couldn't help but sigh: Is this the transformation technique of the dragon clan? It is indeed amazing!
The voice of Little White Dragon also changed at this time, becoming a young and handsome voice. He looked at Sun Wukong and Tang Hao with a puzzled and inquiring look on his face: "Sun Wukong! Although you are known as the Great Sage Equaling Heaven, I, Little White Dragon, will not be afraid of you! But... you said he was a monk who went to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures, what is your proof?"
Sun Wukong smiled when he heard this, and took out the golden brocade cassock and the nine-ring staff from his arms. "These two treasures were given to my master by Guanyin Bodhisattva." He said as he showed the two treasures to Xiao Bailong. "This brocade cassock is impervious to water and fire, and dust and dirt; this nine-ring staff is used to exorcise demons. With these two treasures in hand, do you still doubt my master's identity?"
Little White Dragon looked at the two treasures in Sun Wukong's hands, and the doubt in his eyes gradually disappeared. He took a deep breath and bowed deeply to Tang Hao: "In this case, Little White Dragon is willing to follow the master's instructions and be your footman and help you go to the West to obtain the scriptures."
Hearing this, Tang Hao smiled with satisfaction. He walked forward and helped Little White Dragon up himself: "That's great! With your help, our journey will surely be much smoother."
Sun Wukong stood aside with a mischievous and curious smile on his face. He looked at Tang Hao and said, "Ah? Master, you said you want proof. What is the proof? Don't you have the pass certificate with you? Doesn't that count as a proof?" As he spoke, his hand reached towards his ear, as if he wanted to scratch it again, but he resisted the urge, appearing to be trying hard to restrain his mischievous nature.
Tang Hao smiled slightly when he heard this, knowing that the monkey was in high spirits again. He turned his head to look at the little white dragon floating in the air, only to see that it was dressed in white clothes as white as snow, and its figure was graceful, like a banished immortal. Tang Hao secretly praised in his heart that such demeanor was indeed worthy of the title of the Dragon King's Prince.
"Little White Dragon," Tang Hao said gently, "If you want to see the pass, I'll ask Wukong to get it for you to see."
The little white dragon smiled slightly, and the auspicious clouds beneath him fluttered gently, making him look even more extraordinary. He nodded and said, "In that case, thank you very much."
Seeing this, Sun Wukong excitedly pressed down his cloud and somersaulted to Tang Hao's side. "Master, I'll go get the pass and show it to the Third Prince." He said, and nimbly took out the pass from Tang Hao's bag.
Tang Hao nodded, signaling Sun Wukong to go. Holding the pass in his hand, Sun Wukong once again soared up and came to the front of Xiao Bailong. He handed over the pass and said with a smile: "Third Prince, please read it, please read it. After reading it, turn into a horse and let my master ride you to the West to obtain the scriptures."
Xiao Bailong glared at Sun Wukong, with a look of displeasure. He took the pass and examined it carefully. As his eyes moved, his expression began to change unpredictably, as if he was recalling something, or weighing something. Suddenly, the auspicious cloud under him turned sharply and flew straight to the direction where Tang Hao was. In the surprised eyes of Tang Hao and others, Xiao Bailong bowed down and respectfully called out: "Master, I am late, please forgive me."
Tang Hao was stunned for a moment, then reacted, with an indescribable excitement in his heart. He quickly helped Little White Dragon up, chanting: "Amitabha, Little White Dragon, you can come to protect me in my journey to the West to obtain the scriptures, which means you have fulfilled your karma. From now on, you will be my horse, but I am sorry to trouble the Third Prince."
When Xiao Bailong heard this, a trace of firmness and determination flashed in his eyes. He nodded, and with a flicker of his body, he turned into a majestic white dragon horse. Tang Hao looked at the white dragon horse in front of him, and his heart was extremely excited. He imagined himself riding this dragon horse on the journey to the West to obtain the scriptures. That kind of majesty and glory was even more exciting than driving a top sports car in his previous life.
"Uh..." The Third Prince of Yulong frowned, hesitating. Although he had listened to the Bodhisattva's advice, as the Third Prince of the Dragon King, he had always been in a high position. Now he had to be treated like a horse by a mortal and ridden every day. This gap in status was really hard for him to accept. A trace of unwillingness and struggle flashed in his eyes. He had a lot of thoughts in his mind, but he still couldn't make up his mind.
At this moment, the sky suddenly changed. In the originally clear sky, auspicious clouds began to gather and auspicious air filled the air, and the whole palace was filled with mystery and solemnity. Fragrant winds blew in waves, and each wisp seemed to contain the mystery between heaven and earth, while colorful mists floated and scattered, like a dream.
In this vision, a melodious female voice slowly sounded: "Little White Dragon, hurry up and receive the precepts." This voice seemed to have traveled through endless time and space, with an irresistible force, directly striking the heart of the Third Prince of Jade Dragon. He suddenly looked up and saw the sky was full of auspicious mist and bright auspicious light, as if there was a divine power guarding this world.
Beyond the clouds, the Han Dynasty was brilliant, and a figure of a Jurchen gradually emerged. She wore a golden leaf button on her head, covered with emerald flowers, and her pearl tassels were shining with golden light, giving her a sharp aura. She was wearing a light-colored plain blue robe, lightly decorated with golden dragons and flying phoenixes, and every part of her looked exquisite and gorgeous.
On her chest hung a pair of moonlit incense pendants, dancing in the breeze, with pearls and jade interspersed in between, shining brightly. Around her waist was a brocade velvet skirt woven from ice silk, decorated with gold edges, as if she could climb onto the colorful clouds and cross the Yaohai Sea. Her face was kind and solemn, and her eyes sparkled with the light of wisdom and compassion.
In front of this Jurchen woman, there is a yellow-haired, red-billed white parrot that flew to the East and traveled around the world. The parrot stood obediently on her shoulder, and its lively eyes looked around curiously. In the hands of the Jurchen woman, there is a treasure bottle, which is used to show mercy and help the world. In the bottle is a willow branch. This willow branch spreads to the blue sky, which can sweep away all the residual fog and great evil, and looks magical and solemn.
She steps on jade rings and wears golden lotus, and every step seems to be able to cross the three realms and come and go freely. This is the compassionate Guanyin Bodhisattva who saves people from suffering. With her endless compassion and wisdom, she observes all things in the world, and at this moment, she comes in person to persuade the Third Prince of Jade Dragon to return to the right path.
Under the persuasion of Guanyin, the hesitation and unwillingness in the heart of the Third Prince of Yulong gradually dissipated. He knew that he had violated the heavenly law and should be punished. Now he has the opportunity to atone for his sins. Although his status has dropped, isn't it a kind of practice and experience?
Thinking of this, the Third Prince Yulong took a deep breath and made up his mind to take the precepts and repent. He turned into a beam of white light and flew directly to the front of Guanyin Bodhisattva, kneeling on the ground respectfully: "Disciple Yulong, I am willing to accept the teachings of the Bodhisattva, reform from now on, and protect Tang Monk on his journey to the West to obtain the scriptures."
Guanyin Bodhisattva nodded slightly, with a satisfied smile on her face. She stretched out her hand and gently waved, and the willow branch sprinkled nectar, washing away the sins and dust on the body of the Jade Dragon Third Prince. Then, she gave the Jade Dragon Third Prince a spiritual pearl to help him improve his cultivation and better protect Tang Monk on his journey to the west.
As Tang Hao was walking, he suddenly felt the sky darken. He looked up and saw a cloud of auspiciousness slowly floating down from the sky. Standing on the cloud was a graceful figure with a solemn appearance. Who else could it be but Guanyin Bodhisattva? He was startled and knew that this was a rare opportunity. He did not dare to neglect it and quickly straightened his robes, putting on the appearance of a sincere Buddhist disciple.
As the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara slowly descended, Tang Hao felt a gentle Buddha light enveloping him, which made him feel peaceful. He took a deep breath, put his hands together, knelt down on the ground earnestly, kowtowed three times devoutly, and chanted: "Disciple Tang Hao, I meet the Bodhisattva."
In fact, the moment the Bodhisattva appeared, Tang Hao's eyes were involuntarily attracted to her. He caught a glimpse of the kind-hearted face of Guanyin Bodhisattva, and couldn't help but admire her secretly. Especially because of the Buddha's light from long-term practice, her skin looked more delicate, as delicate and shiny as a newborn baby. This fairy face was really breathtaking.
Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled slightly, walked to the little dragon's side with lotus steps. She stretched out her hand and gently plucked the pearl from the little dragon's neck. The pearl was shining brightly, and it was obvious that it was not an ordinary thing. The Bodhisattva took out a willow branch, dipped it in the nectar in the bottle, and gently brushed it over the little dragon's body. With this brush, the little dragon's scales seemed to be rejuvenated with new vitality.
Guanyin Bodhisattva blew a breath of fairy air and shouted, "Change!" As soon as the voice fell, the little dragon's body shook, and then a cloud of mist rose up. After the mist dissipated, the dragon was no longer there, and instead, a majestic and majestic dragon horse appeared. This dragon horse was extraordinary, with piercing eyes and exuding a majestic aura.
Guanyin Bodhisattva instructed in a gentle voice: "You must work hard to repay your karma, and protect Tang Hao all the way to the West to obtain the scriptures. After you succeed, I will grant you a realm beyond that of ordinary dragons and give you a golden body." The little dragon - now a dragon horse - lowered its head and neighed softly, as if to express his unswerving agreement.
Tang Hao was overjoyed when he saw this. With this majestic dragon horse as a foothold, his journey to the West would undoubtedly be much easier. Moreover, Guanyin Bodhisattva even came forward to bless the dragon horse personally, which showed that this journey to obtain the scriptures would definitely be extraordinary.
Guanyin Bodhisattva nodded slightly to show her satisfaction, and then turned around to leave. She smiled and turned back to Tang Hao and said, "I'm going back to the sea, you guys be careful on the way." After that, her figure gradually blurred and disappeared into the sky.
However, at this moment, something strange happened! Sun Wukong, who had been standing quietly by the side, suddenly grabbed Guanyin Bodhisattva's sleeve and shouted loudly: "I'm not going! I'm not going! The road to the West is so rugged and difficult to travel. How can I, a mortal monk, get there? There are so many disasters along the way that I'm afraid my life will be in jeopardy. How can I achieve anything?! I'm not going! I really am not going!"
Sun Wukong's words stunned everyone present, especially Tang Hao, who was extremely anxious. Without Sun Wukong, his capable assistant, how could he continue his journey to the West to obtain the scriptures? But he also knew that Sun Wukong had a rebellious character and could not be forced, so he could only persuade him with kind words. So he quickly persuaded him, "Wukong, how can you give up so easily? Since we have already embarked on this journey to obtain the scriptures, we should stick to it to the end!"
Sun Wukong frowned and glared at Tang Hao, turning his head away. It was obvious that he was still full of dissatisfaction and complaints. The situation was in a stalemate. Tang Hao was anxious when he saw that his persuasion was fruitless, but he also knew that he could not rush and could only slowly look for a breakthrough to try to make Sun Wukong change his mind and continue his journey to the west.
Guanyin Bodhisattva did not show any anger at Sun Wukong's sudden change of heart. She knew that this monkey had a tricky and eccentric personality, sometimes rebellious and sometimes full of childishness. She sighed softly and said in a calm tone: "Wukong, are you really going to give up this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to practice? You should know that the journey to the West is not only for Tang Hao, but also for you to achieve the right result, get rid of the demon body, and become a real immortal Buddha."
Sun Wukong was shaken when he heard this. It was not that he did not know the importance of this journey, but the hardships and dangers on the road made him want to give up. However, Guanyin Bodhisattva's words were like a heavy hammer, hitting his heart. He was silent for a moment, and a firm light flashed in his eyes, as if he had finally made up his mind.
"Okay," Sun Wukong took a deep breath and turned to look at Tang Hao, "I will trust you once again and continue the journey to the West. But you have to remember, if you encounter any danger, you have to rely on me to protect you!"
Tang Hao was overjoyed when he heard this, and hurriedly stepped forward to hold Sun Wukong's hand and said, "Thank you, Wukong! I will definitely work together with you to overcome the difficulties and achieve the right result together!"
The Bodhisattva's face suddenly darkened, her brows revealed seriousness and majesty, she stared at Sun Wukong with a sharp gaze, and said earnestly: "Wukong, when you were not yet an adult, you were still able to practice and enlighten yourself wholeheartedly, and you have gone through countless hardships to achieve what you have today. Now that you have escaped the natural disaster, why have you become lazy? You must know that in my Buddhist sect, nirvana is the truth, and you must have firm faith to achieve the right result."
Sun Wukong was touched by the words of the Bodhisattva. He lowered his head with a look of shame on his face. Indeed, since he returned from his studies, he had become more arrogant and gradually forgot his original intention, and his practice became lax.
Seeing that Wukong was touched, the Bodhisattva continued, "If you are in a place that hurts your body and makes you suffer, I promise that you can call on the heavens and the earth to respond. No matter how big the difficulties you encounter, as long as you call out sincerely, I will respond to you. Even when you are in a difficult situation, I will come to save you personally. Come here, and I will give you another skill."
After saying this, the Bodhisattva gently reached out her hand and plucked three tender green leaves from the willow tree beside her. She gently placed the leaves behind Wukong's head and then shouted, "Change!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the three willow leaves miraculously turned into three life-saving hairs that shone with golden light. These hairs exuded mysterious power, as if they could respond to any crisis at any time.
The Bodhisattva patiently taught Wukong: "These three life-saving hairs are extraordinary. If you are in a desperate situation, they can help you out of disaster. You must cherish this gift and don't use it lightly."
Wukong was filled with gratitude after hearing what the Bodhisattva said. He knew that his previous arrogance and laziness were wrong, and he also understood the good intentions of the Bodhisattva. He bowed respectfully to the Bodhisattva and thanked him: "Thank you, the compassionate Bodhisattva, for giving me the treasure. I will cherish it and live up to your expectations."
Seeing that Wukong had repented, the Bodhisattva smiled slightly, and the surroundings were suddenly filled with fragrant winds and colorful mists. Her figure gradually blurred in this peaceful atmosphere, and finally turned into a ray of light, disappearing into the sky in an instant, returning to Putuo Mountain.
During the whole process of the Bodhisattva's departure, Tang Hao knelt on the ground with his head lowered, not even daring to breathe. He was so nervous because, on the one hand, he was worried that Guanyin Bodhisattva would see through his flaws, after all, he was not the real Tang Monk; on the other hand, he was also intoxicated by the Bodhisattva's fragrant wind, which made him feel peaceful, as if all his troubles had dissipated at this moment.
Tang Hao felt the fragrant breeze gradually fade away, and then he dared to look up. He climbed up carefully, looked around to confirm that the Bodhisattva had left, and finally breathed a sigh of relief. He patted the dust off his body and showed a bright smile on his face: "It's just like a fairy descending to earth."
"She, after all, is just a woman." Sun Wukong complained with some disdain. He waved the golden cudgel in his hand with a look of disapproval on his face. "In my opinion, the female monkeys in my Flower-Fruit Mountain are more charming and lovely." As he spoke, a mischievous smile appeared on his face, as if he was recalling the lively appearance of those female monkeys.
Tang Hao couldn't help but laugh when he heard this. He reached out his hand and gently stroked the smooth mane of the dragon horse in front of him. He then noticed that the horse was completely bald, without even a saddle or bridle. He thought to himself: Although this stone monkey was bred by heaven and earth, it seems to prefer female monkeys more, which is reasonable. After all, there is always an indescribable intimacy between the same species. However, when he thought of the fluffy appearance of those female monkeys, Tang Hao felt uncomfortable all over and his heart was filled with goosebumps. He quickly shook his head and put these distracting thoughts behind him.
"Master, this horse is so majestic, can you ride it?" Sun Wukong blinked his eyes with a mischievous smile on his face. He was used to seeing Tang Seng's clumsy appearance as a mortal. Seeing Tang Seng's face gloomy at this moment, the monkey's cleverness naturally guessed what Tang Seng was thinking. He asked this deliberately just to see how Tang Seng would respond.
Tang Hao was immediately refreshed when he heard this. He raised his head and chest, and said confidently: "Haha, you ask about riding a horse? You don't really need to teach me how to ride a horse." Thinking back to the time when he participated in an equestrian competition, he once won the championship of the college sports meeting. Hearing what Wukong said, he laughed, put his hands lightly on the back of the dragon horse, and with a slight leap, he jumped lightly onto the dragon horse.
The dragon horse seemed to sense the master's intentions, and moved forward automatically without Tang Hao shouting. Its four hooves flew, carrying Tang Hao steadily, and it cooperated with him on the horse very well. Tang Hao rode on the dragon horse's back, feeling the speed of the wind whistling beside his ears, and he was very proud in his heart. He looked around and saw the magnificent mountains and rivers, the picturesque scenery, and he couldn't help but feel open-minded and full of lofty sentiments.
"Haha, Master, you are really amazing! Even I am not as good as you in riding a horse!" Sun Wukong, carrying a heavy bag, still jumped into the air and followed Tang Hao closely. He expressed his views while flying. Looking at Tang Hao's heroic figure on horseback, he couldn't help but secretly admire in his heart: Although Tang Seng is a mortal, his riding skills are really amazing.
Tang Hao was even happier when he heard Sun Wukong's praise. He smiled and replied, "Hahaha, you're too kind. I also learned this horse riding skill when I was training in the human world. Back then, I was also a brave and skilled warrior on the battlefield." When he said this, a look of nostalgia flashed in his eyes, as if he had returned to the era of war and iron horses.
