Chapter 13 Elf Ambassador
When the guard looked over, Roland had already closed the coffin again.
Should we ask him to open it again? He's already in the coffin, and the injuries might be serious. What if he finds something wrong?
Let him in without checking? If he is a liar and something happens, it will be terrible.
Don't let it go? What if it's true?
For a moment, the guard was hesitant and didn't know how to deal with it.
"Let him in."
Just as the guard was hesitating, a clear and beautiful voice came from the building.
After hearing this voice, the guard felt relieved and decisively stepped aside.
"Please come in."
"Thank you."
Roland nodded and walked into the embassy carrying the coffin.
Hela behind him blinked and watched him disappear from her sight before she looked away. Under the watchful eyes of two half-elf guards, she pulled the two chocobos to the corner.
She silently drew out her sword, took out the deerskin and alchemical potion from the Chocobo's package, and quietly performed simple maintenance on her weapons.
And inside the embassy.
Roland carried the coffin and followed the attendants into the depths of the embassy.
After the servants passed through a transparent barrier, Roland arrived at the destination.
In the room, the Moon Elves' ambassador to the Northern Kingdom was sitting at the desk waiting for Roland.
Although she is an antique who has been stationed in Winter City for many years, the elf's long lifespan and powerful strength still allow her to maintain a young and beautiful appearance.
Although he was prepared, the beauty of the elf still made Roland lose his mind for a moment. However, at the moment when Roland lost his mind, the micro-mental shock that had been arranged in his body in advance exploded instantly, allowing him to quickly regain his composure.
After Roland entered the room, she waved her hand to signal the attendants to leave.
The servant naturally obeyed the instructions and quietly left the room after receiving them.
Then, she looked at Roland with interest. The weak fluctuation of magic power just now could naturally not escape her perception.
Are young people nowadays so alert?
Roland ignored her gaze and opened the coffin on the ground, revealing the moon elf with only a faint breath of life left inside.
After Roland opened the coffin, the Elf Ambassador instantly appeared beside the coffin, stretched out his right hand, and directly passed through the ice and barrier to touch the body of the Moon Elf.
The rich life force continuously flowed into the moon elf's body from her arms.
With the injection of a large amount of life force, the dark elements entrenched in her torso were quickly driven away, and the removed organs quickly regrew.
As her internal organs grew back, her vital signs gradually stabilized.
After his life stabilized, the elf ambassador withdrew his hand and frowned slightly as he looked at the coffin.
"She was found in the cult's base. She seemed to be transformed as a sacrifice. When I found her, most of her organs had been removed and replaced with evil materials. In order to save her life, I could only remove those materials and replace the dark elements in her body that carried negative emotions with pure dark elements."
Roland explained, then paused and added.
"Although it doesn't seem like a big problem, the pollution has already penetrated into her bones."
After hearing Roland's explanation, the elf ambassador nodded.
She understood Roland's hint.
Relying solely on the force of life to treat her can only cure her superficial problems at best. Not only can it not really save her, it may also strengthen the pollution hidden in her body and lead to bigger problems.
The elf ambassador gently closed the coffin, turned to look at Roland, and spoke in a gentle tone.
"Thank you for your help. I wonder if there is anything we can do to help you."
This is an old tradition of the Moon Elves. As long as you save any Moon Elves or their half-elves, you will be rewarded generously. Roland came here for this very reason. Roland smiled slightly and replied.
"I'm sure you've figured it out. I'm a spellcaster and a stateless person. I heard that the war in Sinar is over, and I hope to have a suitable identity to travel to Sinar."
When the elf ambassador heard Roland's words, he looked at him with a little surprise and said.
"You are well-informed. Yes, the war is indeed over."
She paused, looked Roland up and down, and after realizing his strength, she spoke.
"I can provide you with two apprenticeship qualifications for the Tower of Truth. It will take at most seven days for you to complete it."
Hearing the reward she offered, Roland shook his head and responded calmly.
"I have no intention of studying at the Tower of Truth. Please provide me with a letter of recommendation from the Spellcaster Association."
The Elf Ambassador raised his eyebrows slightly and asked.
"you sure?"
Roland nodded silently.
"I understand."
She nodded, picked up a piece of paper emitting a faint magical power from the desk, and used magic to quickly write a recommendation letter. Then, she took out a letter from the cabinet, put the paper in it, sealed the letter, and handed it directly to Roland.
Roland took the letter and put it in his pocket with satisfaction.
"Anything else you need?"
The Elf Ambassador continued to ask.
If Roland got the apprenticeship qualifications of two Tower of Truths, then he would be even. However, if it was just a letter of recommendation, it would not have much value.
Roland shook his head and replied.
"enough."
He glanced at the moon elf in the coffin and said.
"Since the elves have been delivered, I will take my leave now."
The elf ambassador nodded, and a faint magic flew out of her body and quickly went deep into the embassy. Then, she looked at Roland, stretched out her hand and said.
"please."
The two men walked out of the room and headed towards the embassy entrance.
Just as they were about to reach the door, a moon elf in a formal dress hurriedly caught up and handed a ring to the elven ambassador.
The elf ambassador took the ring, handed it to Roland, and said gently.
"Thank you for saving one of our compatriots. This is the reward you deserve. Please don't refuse it."
Roland did not refuse and took the ring directly.
In order to avoid the Moon Elves not saving anyone in the future, the Moon Elves will give sufficient compensation even if someone refuses to be rewarded.
After touching the ring, Roland immediately realized that it was a space ring.
Without looking at it directly, Roland put the ring away, nodded slightly to her, and walked out of the room and towards Hela who was standing in the corner.
After watching the two people go away, the Elf Ambassador's gentle face suddenly darkened and he gave cold orders.
"Shafuli, investigate strictly. Any organization that tries to provoke us must die. I want to see who thinks that we moon elves dare not kill people."
