Chapter 493: Accidentally Digging Up the Roots of Longhu Mountain
"Oh, treat it as it should be. Now there are words on your Nascent Soul, which means it is the divine spirit passed down from Wu Gensheng. There is no doubt about it."
Zhang Chulan: "..."
“So, I ask you to quickly rebuild your Qi body, cultivate your own Nascent Soul, and devour Wu Gensheng’s innate Qi. This will be a great opportunity for you.”
Zhang Chulan scratched his cheek and asked uncertainly: "Are you sure? The source of Qi can cultivate a Nascent Soul? Instead of..."
"I'm sure! The spirit of the gods has never been a trick. The gods, in terms of spiritual practice, mean the innate Qi of human beings. The Taoists call it the Mysterious Female, the Buddhists call it the Self-nature, and the Confucians call it conscience, or benevolence and righteousness."
"No matter what it is called, one of the thresholds of cultivation is to see your innate Qi. This step is called realizing your true self. The essence of cultivation is to return to the innate from the acquired. How to return?"
"Through exercise, swallowing, and other means, we can replenish our essence, energy, and spirit, refine our acquired qi, and reverse our innate qi. This is the process of cultivation!"
"The spirit of the gods is the application of one's own innate Qi. It can be transformed into a Nascent Soul and fed as a child! Or it can be smelted as an elixir, or it can be communicated and tamed as a spirit general, or it can be communicated with as an ancient god through a contract..."
Zhang Chulan was stunned after hearing this. This was like stripping away a layer of the foundation of the Eight Great Skills.
After the two of them finished talking, Zhang Chulan welcomed everyone in.
It’s getting late, let’s go out for a meal first.
After the fun was over, Murong Ji returned to the room he had just cleaned up. Now that he had his own space and time, he was able to calm down and think.
He took a piece of paper and wrote down a few words, "Nothing gained, but the gods of the valley are enlightened."
This sentence also depends on the meaning of Wu Gensheng himself. What message is he trying to convey?
If he uses his innate Qi as the basis for Feng Baobao's resurrection, then he is conveying a message to Feng Baobao.
The other eight people achieved different results in their enlightenment, but he himself did not realize anything, so he passed on the divine spirit as a magical skill.
This "Gu" must refer to Gu Jiting. Something unexpected happened during this period, so I had no choice but to give it to Zhang Huaiyi first?
[Should I ask him to look after Feng Baobao? Or...]
If you want to convey some insight into the great truth, that makes sense!
Nothing gained.
Although it is said that one has attained the Tao, in reality there is nothing to be gained. This is a state.
Saints from ancient times to the present, whether themselves or through their disciples, have expounded on the "Tao".
But no matter who you are, you still can't describe what the Tao is. You can only use various complicated languages, boring deeds, etc. to record and express...
For example, the Bible is full of boring little stories. Does it only express the threats and expectations of "going to heaven and going to hell"?
No.
Don't the people who wrote these scriptures want to describe the so-called "Tao" more clearly? No, it can't be done. Everyone's understanding is different, and everyone's cognitive level is different.
You are describing an apple, but in his eyes it is an apple-pear. If something is a little outrageous, he might think it is a banana. They are completely unrelated... No one can imagine how he came up with this idea.
That’s why it is like this: it can only be understood but not expressed in words.
So, after enlightenment, it feels like a dream, as if you know something, but you don’t know what you understand.
Murong Ji scratched his head. In this sense, he was also a master of Buddhism. Until now, he still didn't know what Mahakasyapa understood when the Buddha smiled at the flower...
But we can't say that it's deliberately mysterious.
The existence of "meaning" expressed in calligraphy and painting has existed since ancient times, and "understanding of meaning" is real.
To the gods and spirits of the valley.
If you think about this sentence carefully, there is something to it, as if it is talking about the fundamental state of the innate Qi.
The Valley Spirit is immortal, and this is called the Mysterious Female. The gate of the Mysterious Female is the root of heaven and earth.
"Gu" is actually a Taoist term. "Gu" and "Shen" are used separately, but they are often used together, which gives people an illusion that "Gu Shen" represents the empty, invisible, unpredictable, and eternal "Tao".
The actual meaning of "gu" is a description.
There is no valley in the center. It has no form or shadow, it does not resist or violate, it is lowly and does not move, it keeps still and does not decline, the valley is formed by it but its form is not visible, this is the ultimate thing.
Valley is the ultimate thing, the most subtle thing.
The Daodejing Lun states: "The center is empty, so it is called a valley; it is unfathomable, so it is called a god; the heaven and earth have a limit, but the Tao is infinite, so it is called immortal."
There is another theory that it is the knowledge of cultivation. The word "gu" represents the five internal organs gods, that is, the Taiyuangu God. When it is the five internal organs god, it is not pronounced as "gu", but as "yu".
Gu, the same as 'gu (yu)', the same as the gu in Tuyuhun.
The meaning is to give birth and raise, and the Valley God is the god of birth and raising, which is also the "Tao". 'The Tao can give birth to the heaven and earth and raise all things, so it is called the Valley God. Immortality means that it will always exist.'
"If a person can nourish his spirit, he will not die. The spirit refers to the spirit of the five internal organs." It is extended to guide the art of health preservation.
According to this line of thought, Murong Ji's thoughts spread quite quickly.
It is still the same sentence: The immortal valley spirit is called the mysterious female. The gate of the mysterious female is the root of heaven and earth. The root in heaven and earth is the gate of the mysterious female, but the immortal valley spirit is the root of the mysterious female. So, how can we be immortal?
The valley is full when it gets one, and the mind is at peace when it gets one.
When you reach the state of emptiness and peace below, you will experience immortality.
The Xuanpin between heaven and earth can be explained as the Tao, but what about above humans? It is the female reproductive system.
While the essence of heaven and earth is being nurtured in the Xuanpin, it will also promote the perfection of heaven and earth.
During the process of pregnancy, people will also be promoted to grow in all aspects. The "Valley Spirit" is like the female reproductive system, nurturing the vitality of all things.
Therefore, to integrate into the heaven and earth without discrimination is the state of "immortality of the soul".
"Isn't this the advanced technique of each sect?"
Murong Ji came back to his senses and felt somewhat relieved. Enlightenment, cultivation, and sudden enlightenment all depend on sufficient accumulation.
When the consciousness is strong enough, one can really do whatever he wants.
Then, he took out a piece of paper and wrote down what he had just thought. He would look through it occasionally in the future, gradually deepening his memory, and it would completely become his own.
Suddenly, Murong Ji's pupils shrank, and he remembered the Tianlong world, the Qiheng Mansion under Mount Hua!
When he first went there to practice, he almost died there! That thing that he couldn't explain clearly until now seemed to be using himself as nourishment to feed back to the cave.
At that time he thought it was the spirit of Huashan, but now it seems... it is...
Murong Ji's expression gradually became serious. He seemed to understand what it was! Now that he thought about it carefully, how could it be such a coincidence?
When Li Canghai went to practice, he was harmed by a monster, and when I went to practice, I was attacked by a leopard...
Coming back to his senses, Murong Ji's face was still a little pale... He touched the diamond bracelet on his wrist and felt a lot more at ease.
If it weren’t for the diamond bracelet, I would have been dead in that crisis.
His eyes swept across the paper, and the eight words "Nothing gained, but the gods of the valley are bright and spiritual" came into his sight again, and Murong Ji couldn't help but think about it.
According to Zhang Huaiyi, "The end of the art is the source of the Qi body." This statement is too arrogant.
The Heavenly Book that he learned, as well as the Tai Chi Xuanqing Taoism, and even the various skills in the Zhu Xian world, are all techniques based on spiritual energy and evil spirits.
These things cannot be explained by the "end of the art".
Spiritual energy and evil energy have another name, called Xuanhuang. This is the origin of the heaven and earth, where else can it be more original?
Going further up, there is the chaotic energy, which is what it was like before the creation of heaven and earth.
As for the innate qi, it also has other names, such as the innate ancestral qi and the primordial qi. The primordial qi is not chaotic and without rules, but an orderly mixing movement.
Hunyuan is principle, it is Tao, it is the great way of heaven and earth.
Hey! It seems that the two do not conflict!
Murong Ji wrote it down, looked at it carefully, and added: When chaos moves, the Tao appears, which is Hunyuan.
When he woke up in a daze, the sky had already gone completely dark, but Murong Ji still had a feeling of not having enough.
After taking a shower and curling up in bed, Murong Ji fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning, after Murong Ji washed up, he looked again at what he had recorded yesterday, and something came to his mind again.
"The source of the Qi body?"
Thinking about the origin of Qi body again, Murong Ji couldn't help but think of a question: What did Zhang Huaiyi ask when he realized the truth?
Suddenly, Murong Ji was struck by lightning! He stood there in shock!
What else?! Thunder magic!
At that time, the only top-notch martial arts Zhang Huaiyi had come into contact with was the Thunder Method from the Tianshi Mansion. The Thunder Method could naturally reach the sky, so he didn't need to ask for the method to reach the sky like the others!
Then the most likely questions would be about thunder magic and divine spirits!
The Five Thunders Method is called the Five Thunders but is actually the Five Qi!
It is based on the innate Qi of human nature! This is one of the three techniques he has come across that directly target the innate Qi.
The other two are: one is a Confucian method that may have been passed down from Wang Shouren's Inner Sage Heart Method, which is also the method of the Taoist priest named Feng.
The other is the alchemy method of Baiyun Temple and Yuchan Palace, which, in the final analysis, are the same, inner alchemy.
Murong Ji thought carefully and concluded that the innate Qi can be subdivided into five parts and stored in the five internal organs. "The Qi of the five internal organs gathers and converges into one, and then one can reach the Great Dao."
It's all written in the encyclopedia.
However, the most difficult thing is to gather the five internal organs into one.
Murong Ji took out his mobile phone, searched for the thunder method of Longhu Mountain, clicked on the encyclopedia, and read the introduction carefully.
If you want to gather the five qi, you must reach a state where the five internal organs are cool, the six bowels are in harmony, and the soul is open.
This state was achieved through the Golden Light Mantra. Murong Ji thought about it carefully and thought that the effect would be better if he used the Three-fold Reverse Life to regulate it. These two methods were also the true skills of the harmony of water and fire.
According to Murong Ji's understanding, gathering the five Qi together to practice is life practice, and that kind of primordial spirit is sex practice.
Murong Ji rubbed his forehead. The origin of Qi is not like other unique skills, which have a very obvious effect. That's because Zhang Huaiyi didn't ask for any heaven-reaching method at all. What he wanted was how to quickly condense the innate Qi!
